New Heritage Sash Windows

Our windows are perfect for period-style developments, listed buildings, and conservation-led commercial projects.

Each window is crafted from high-quality timber and features authentic details such as lamb’s tongue or putty-style mouldings, slim glazing bars, and graceful horn profiles, all chosen to reflect the character of historic architecture. We offer both cord-and-weight and spiral balance systems, along with optional discreet child-safety locks where required. Glazing options range from traditional 4mm single panes to 14mm slimline double glazing, offering improved energy efficiency while preserving the appearance of a true heritage sash.

We only speak bespoke

Our windows aren’t off-the-shelf – they’re built from scratch using time-honoured joinery techniques, carefully selected timber, and our deep understanding of traditional architectural details. Whether you’re planning a new civic building, upgrading a listed school, or developing a heritage-style commercial site, we help ensure the windows look the part and perform exceptionally.

Made in our workshop, fitted by our team

Our story began with a love of restoration. For over two decades, the Brown’s name has been associated with the careful repair of original sash windows across Nottinghamshire and beyond. That same knowledge and care now go into every new window we make.

We’re still a family-run business, and still driven by the same values: attention to detail, respect for heritage, and a hands-on approach to craftsmanship. Our workshop is home to experienced joiners, many of whom have been with us for years – and all of whom share a passion for doing things properly.
